... and next on the rostrum, Tim. Can you spot him below?

That's right! He'd be the little feller. So, without further ado, let's find out a bit about our new friend. Here, as Tim said at the top of his entry, are the votes from the Luxembourg jury - happily, I notice a few votes for the Brits, here.

THE CHAT

Now I believe this piece to be in truncated form - there are gaps that I recognise from my query sheet but we must wait for those pearls to form and grow into something beautiful. Mind you, check out the Elvis lyric chosen to head up this section ...

As you have probably guessed from previous contact I am inclined to pop song lyrics into most of my correspondence.

So lets have "a little less conversation, a little more action"

OK, OK! Message received, Tim. Now, you started this. So, what are your views on the Eurovision Song Contest?

My view of Eurovision . I am not a fan at the moment. I used to watch it in the 60's but then lost interest . It seems now that everyone hates the British so we are never going to win even if we had a Tom Jones Paul McCartney Adele trio as the UK entry.

I bet you can still taste the buzz of buying your Who Sell Out LP ...

From my original purchase of Who Sell Out I have now got 5 version. 3 vinyl and 2 CD .I have resisted the temptation to buy the 2021 super extended deluxe remastered vinyl /cd with booklet and additional sleeve note, please buy it as we want to make more money from you , edition.

I didn’t realise that Baba O’Riley was not released here …

I’m familiar with Bronco but even Spotify can’t find Ace of Sunlight for me to listen to. Good ol’ YouToob supplied the necessary. Pretty cool. Very 70s. How did you come by this one?

Bronco were a local group from Kidderminster . Jess Roden Robbie Blunt and Kevyn Gammond were all local boys .The Blunt family own a couple of independent shoe shops and wholesale warehouse in the area. The business was started by Robbie's forefathers .One of my early girlfriends was a Blunt. Needless to say I have all 3 of their albums . Further info .. Kevyn did some work with Robert Plant, another local lad , after Led Zeppelin .Robert still lives ( or at least has a house ) within 3 miles of the shop we used to keep in Cookley before we moved north.

The Sparks film – were you first in the queue as you suggested on Facebook? How was it?

The Sparks film is not released in the UK yet but I am certain it will become one of my favourite films , I will probably have to stream it as the cinemas in my area are not big enough to give it a showing.

... and for now, that is it ... until another time
